He and his family lived at Lee in Kent.He had been married earlier, having two children born in Paddington from that marriage: Nina (born c.1858) and Edmund (born c.1859).
Charlotte Laura, the beloved Mother of the above children, died at 8, Devonport St., London, September 24th. 1859 - and was burried at Kensall Green, September 30th 1859.
